The living room on the main floor is anchored by a dramatic chandelier and cozy gas fireplace. The main floor also holds a dramatic 1/2 bath with custom floor to ceiling tile work. Master suite is on the main floor with attached bath and walk in closet. An incredible home with terrific location and easy access to freeway and services yet a world away. Henderson Bay is at your back door with incredible sunsets.

Turn key living in an over the top sense of style with TWO master suites, one on the main. Lower level wet bar and wine fridge provide entertaining on multiple levels inside and out. A custom Trex deck was done with dining area, built in benches and even stairs to the bulkhead. What a beautiful house…I think it’s one of my fav HGTV dream homes ever. This beautiful mural by artist Celery Jones adds interest, depth and color to the master retreat.
I loved how almost every room has a conversation area where family, friends and guests can gather. There is an abundance of outdoor and indoor spaces that give everyone a chance to come together for story telling, game nights and extra bonding. The upper level holds the master suite with sitting area and water/sunset views, with dramatic attached 5 piece bath, vaulted ceilings, and custom walk in closet. Main floor is open and bright with beach side colors reflecting the glows of a setting sun. Open kitchen with massive island, top of the line appliances, custom pantry and easy access to the outdoor dining areas.

The white washed wood floors keep this area from feeling too narrow or closed-in. The views from the master retreat are incredible – lush evergreen trees line the property with the Puget Sound in the backdrop providing the perfect spot to relax, unplug and disconnect. With approximately 3500 square feet of space, the fully furnished rooms in the HGTV Dream Home provide the perfect backdrop and opportunity for entertaining guests.
The house has four bedrooms and three and a half baths and sits on property packed with lush evergreens. It is characterized by angular, asymmetrical architecture and a unique mashup of rugged, coastal and modern materials. Its updated maritimeinterior is outfitted with soothing shades of gray pulled from the moody landscape seen through the home's wealth of picture windows, which provide stunning views from almost every room. The contemporary architecture of the house is softened with expert layering of textures, colors, patterns and shapes to add warmth and personality.
Some of my favorite details in the HGTV Dream Home were the color palette – especially the blush pink bedroom. You all know I’m a huge fan of blush pink and you can find it currently in my home. I was instantly smitten with this super feminine pink room.

Yet I also love how family and friends can find their own designated areas for more time to connect within this large space. The dining room table is an ideal spot to host large gatherings. You can lounge in the family room by the fire and snack around the kitchen island.
There are separate areas for entertaining, a media area, and even a wall of cabinetry with wine fridge and wet bar area. All leading out to the rear covered sitting area and waterfront. This year’s HGTV Dream Home is in Gig Harbor, Washington.

I took an opportunity to give it a try with Brian – we had so much fun posing in front of Celery’s amazing artistic expression of the iconic Seattle Space Needle. The Harbor and marinas are nearby, including boat and kayak rentals. You can always keep your water toys at your own backyard as well, since the home is perfect for waterfront fun and relaxation. All that the Pacific Northwest has to offer is at your doorstep.
